Bahia Rica is a place to truly relax. Situated close to the easternmost part of the Nicoya Peninsula it is an excellent place to enjoy nature as the waters of the Gulf are literally the back yard. Birds, mammals and fish are spotted all day long either from the dining area, the lodge or the hammocks that are spread around the property. Bahia Rica also helps support the community through several local projects. Bahia Rica has water access and uses its three boats to show tourist the beauty of the Gulf of Nicoya in the form of excursions such as whale watching, island tours, sport fishing or snorkeling. Kayaks are an important part of the company and are used to explore the multitude of islands as well as viewing the incredible beauty of the bioluminescence in the Gulf at night.
