La Kukula Lodge is located in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo, on a cocoa plantation which was abandoned in the 1960s and converted back to secondary forest, with a a rich diversity of local flora and fauna. The building's rooms are designed to hightlight the landscape and rainforest life for the guest's enjoyment. Our lodging service includes breakfast and aims to connect with those travelers that enjoy Costa Rica´s exuberant nature and wildlife: sloths, monkeys, frogs, tucans and agutis are our neighbours.
