When you sail with Serendipity Charters, you are chartering your own private yacht and crew.  You will not be crammed aboard with 30-70 other booze cruisers.  You will be able to enjoy the day out with only your group (or a small group of 13 for our open tours) on a real sailboat.  The  Cover-girl, Serendipity,  is a classy  50 foot Beneteau Oceanis (she was featured on the cover of Sail Magazine).  They are proud to have the most experienced, professional and safest crew in the bay - their captains have sailed the world!

Our Area
The waters in our area, Potrero Bay, are unique in that they offer flat calm waters, consistent breeze and breathtaking anchorages. You depart from the Flamingo Marina which is an easy 25 minute drive from Tamarindo, but worlds away!

Charters<p>
Private Half Day- Morning cruise departs at 8:30-12:45; afternoon/sunset cruises are 1:30-5:45 (or after sunset).  You will sail up the coast and the Captain will assess the best place to anchor for that day.  Guests will have the chance to snorkel, swim, beach comb.  They provide quality appetizers, a delicious healthy lunch of fresh chicken tacos (veggie and gluten free available) and an open bar.  They also have all the equipment on board for snorkeling and fishing.  

Private Full Day- Serendipity Charters full day tours depart at 11:00-5:45, or after sunset.  The extra time gives you an opportunity to travel further up our coast line and find more remote beaches.  Snacks/drinks/food and equipment included.

Lucky 13 Tour (Tuesdays & Sundays in high season)- While they primarily offer private charters, they have created the Lucky 13 Tour so that smaller groups can mix together safely and still enjoy what Serendipity has to offer. They only accept 13 guests in order to be able to provide a high level of client attention and enough room for their guests to have space to breathe and to be.
