The Hotel Wagelia Turrialba was inaugurated in the year 1987 by Walter Coto Molina, a Turrialbeño with a wide business vision. Wagelia was born to satisfy the need of visitors of that time, who arrived in the canton from the Caribbean or the metropolitan area and required a comfortable and cozy place to stay with friends or family.
